The Duck Pond Park is privately owned by Peachtree Heights East. Members and Friends of the Park fund all of the park maintenance and improvement and security services. All parties, events, professional and commercial photography or filming, classes, etc. must be reserved in advance. All rental fees are used to maintain and improve the Duck Pond Park.
Everyone, including paid members and Friends of the Park, must reserve the park for professional and commercial photography or filming, parties, and other events and classes. All Park Rules must be observed.
The Duck Pond Park is a wonderful location for your next event. This 7.5-acre park includes several different locations that are suitable for any theme—from a rustic retreat to a formal garden party. The Duck Pond is one of just two large privately-owned parks in Buckhead, and it is perfectly situated for easy access from all parts of the city.
Suggested Event Areas
The Great Lawn: This 30,000 square foot lawn borders the Duck Pond on Demorest Avenue and includes the Perennial Garden. It is a great area for casual events.
The Peninsula: The Peninsula is in the center of the park and overlooks the Duck Pond.
The Lower Park: On the corner of Parkside Avenue and Lindbergh, this area features a large flat lawn and lots of shade. This is a beautiful green area if you want to be away from the more active areas of the park.
